From Saturday 16th Cafè Capretz and Municipal Art Gallery in Barga will host CINZIO’s exhibition “TUTTO FA BRODO”. In this small anthological exhibition you will see a selection of works from the late 90s: cultural interference, ecology, sustainable practices, popular culture are some of the main ingredients of this work.
The title refers to an italian expression. In the past, broth was made with many types of fods.
Cinzio shares this exhibition with an unknown artist who exhibit his works for the first time: DanolDuck.
DanolDuck is a masked artist whose true identity no one knows: he defines himself as a duck painter, who only depicts ducks inspired by the character of Donald Duck.
DanolDuck in his life has chosen silence, but for this occasion he has declarated:
“We are all Donald Duck!
Donald is the anti-hero par excellence, the incarnation of the modern man, with his frustrations, his problems and his fears. Donald always thinks that the cause of his problems are external and that he suffers from bad luck.
But the best part of this character is that he continues to look at life with optimism and positivity”.
The exhibition is part of our cApReTz project, curated by Giorgia Madiai. Official opening on Saturday 16th July at 6pm. Enjoy everyone!
