On Thursday 30 June evening at Caffè Capretz you will enjoy the colors and flavors from Livorno! Livorno cook Simone De Vanni, also known as “Il Bocca”, will be with us.
Simone will prepare the classic Livorno dish, Cacciucco, accompanied with cod, leeks and potatoes on a chickpea cream with rosemary.

Andrea Giovannini and Simone De Vanni are the protagonists of BoccaTV. BoccaTV was born in 2012 with the idea of creating a cooking program to tell the kitchen traditions of Livorno and Tuscany.
BoccaTV was successfull and became a YouTube channel, then a website. The name is inspired by an old nickname of Simone (“the mouth”, for the his talkativeness and his passion for food).
The topics are centered on true traditional Tuscan cuisine. All courses are prepared in an artisanal way with fresh ingredients.
